Jeffrey was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland where he began his career in the automotive industry after attending Penn State University with a major in marketing and a minor in finance and economics.
His enjoyment of the water sports such as canoeing, surfing and fishing led him to relocate to Melbourne, Florida in 1993. From there he continued his career in the automotive sales industry and quickly moved up through the ranks rapidly moving into the finance department and soon after into a general sales management position with a well respected dealer group.
In 1998 Mr. Knott decided to bring his talent and knowledge to dealers throughout the United States and he became a consultant, sales trainer and event coordinator, working with more than 250 automotive dealers throughout the United States. His non confrontational selling system and marketing strategies enabled automotive dealers to increase the number of units that they sold as well as their per vehicle retail while enabling them to maintain the highest standards and customer satisfaction.
In 2006 Jeffrey published his first book, From Zero to Hero, How to Master the Art of Selling Cars which was well received by the automotive industry and it received four awards including the coveted Star award making it a best seller within six months of its release. Currently From Zero to Hero is the number one selling book exclusive to the automotive sales industry and has been sold in over 14 countries including China and Australia.
Jeffrey's vast experience in the automotive industry and interest in sales, marketing and the public's response to different types of advertising motivate him to find the right combination of advertising and demo graphical research to provide his clients with overwhelming results and an incredible return on their marketing investment.
